Our guide to golf in Bristol

Golfing is an immensely popular sport and although Bristol is England's sixth biggest city, there are actually plenty of places to play if you know where to go. We asked Toni for her knowledge of local Bristol golf courses as I don’t have a clue, (I stick to Hockey – perhaps a future blog; ‘Sam’s favourite AstroTurfs).

  1. Bristol & Clifton Golf Club

Situated just four miles from the M5 and from Bristol city centre, Bristol & Clifton is easy to get to. It's a Par 72, 6,413 yards off the white tees and is immaculately kept. It is one of the more expensive in the area.
